LATEST NEWS.... Updated: March 1 2012 - Waterside's Step Up To Health - this FREE EVENT takes place this evening (Thursday 1 March) and includes MOT health checks, therapies, beauticians, Zumba, cooking, food, information and health stands. Why not come along anytime between 7pm & 9pm...... and bring a friend as well!!!!
- Congratulations to the boys and girls from Year 6 & 7 who had a claen sweep of titles in this year's Credit Union Quiz. The children now go forward to the Regional Finals which will be held on Sunday 4 2012 in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny. Good luck to one and all!!!
- Taxi Service: a few places are available on our Taxi-2-School service. If you would like your child to be collected each morning or left off after school, please ring the school office. Cost of each one-way journey = £1.
- Our series of evening classes continue each Monday evening at 7.30pm. Zumba, beginners' crochet and traditional music coaching in violin/flute and tin whistle are all on offer. New members are always welcome. All classes cost: £3
- He's behind you!!!! Tuesday 13 December saw every child in the school off to the Millennium Forum to watch this year's pantomime. A great time was had by all. The school was so quiet without everone........ Peace at last!!
- Thanks to JAMES MC CLEAN who dropped into school on Monday 12 December to chat to the children. As you know, James made his debut for Sunderland on Sunday and changed the game once he came on. He told us he was more nervous facing the children's questions than he was playing in front of 43,000 fans.
- Open Night: Have you a child who is due to start school this year? Are you new to the area and seeking a new school for your children? Why not come along to our annual Open Night and Carol Service on Thursday 15 December. See more details in our December newsletter link on the right.
- Community Links: our evening classes have now finished until after Christmas. They are due to start again on Monday 16 January.
