Our topic this term is “Brr… It’s Freezing!” and 2ED have been having lots of fun learning through music, science and practical winter activities.
Music
The children enjoyed lively music sessions where they explored rhythms, beats and winter?themed rhymes. They loved performing actions, keeping time and learning how music can paint a picture of the season.
Science
In Science, pupils investigated freezing and melting through hands?on experiments. They made predictions, observed changes and discussed what happens to materials in cold temperatures.
Winter Clothing
The class also worked on recognising, sorting and discussing clothes suitable for winter, learning how to keep warm and safe during the colder months.
2ED have shown lots of enthusiasm as they explore all things winter!
