P5NK - Exploring Data in Our Class!

Last Friday, our class had an exciting activity for our Investigative Maths. We collected information about our classmates’ favourite fruit, pets, and colours. Everyone shared their choices, and we recorded the data in a table.

Using Just2Data on our iPads, we turned this information into bar charts and pictograms. It was amazing to see how our preferences compared visually!

After creating our charts, we worked with partners to ask and answer questions based on the data. For example:

• Which fruit was the most popular?
• How many people chose dogs as their favourite pet?
• Which colour had the least votes?

This activity helped us learn how to collect, organize, and interpret data in a fun and interactive way!
