P5 had a lovely time celebrating Pancake Day.
The children really enjoyed eating their pancakes with lots of tasty toppings, and there were plenty of smiles around the room!
We also took time to talk about the meaning of Pancake Day. Pupils learned that Shrove Tuesday is a special day before Lent, when people traditionally used up foods like eggs and flour to prepare for the weeks ahead. The class shared what they already knew, asked great questions, and enjoyed finding out why this day is celebrated.
It was a fun, relaxed morning filled with learning, chatting, and of course… pancakes!
