P5NK have been diving into the world of Mesolithic Hunter-Gatherers. We explored artefacts in a carousel activity, which helped us create and choose our own exciting inquiry questions to guide our research.
Using a toilet roll timeline, we explored how long ago the Mesolithic period was—and discovered that some time periods even overlapped!
Using ICT, we explored Mountsandel and edited the images to show seasons, created 'modern day' cave paintings and created collages for Stone Age tools and homes.
We also became archaeologists for the day, learning how they use evidence to prove what life was like in the past.
