Primary 5 pupils took part in a ‘TV News Reporter’ lesson to familiarise themselves with report writing. The classroom was transformed into a newsroom where pupils researched and presented factual reports on topics such as weather, volcanoes, space and animals. This helped pupils understand the importance of audience, formal language and clear structure when writing reports. Pupils worked as a team and presented their ideas.
