SEAG Entrance Assessment – Important Information for Parents of Y6 Pupils

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to share some important information from SEAG regarding the application process for the 2026 Entrance Assessment.

Please take a moment to read the following carefully to ensure your child’s application is completed correctly:

• Access Arrangements
  If you wish to request access arrangements for your child, this must be indicated at the time of application. Supporting documentation can be submitted later (up to 18th September 2026), but the request itself must be selected when completing the application. If access arrangements are not selected, they cannot be added later without submitting a new application. 

• Second Contact Person
  Parents must provide a second contact person (someone different from the main applicant). This ensures the assessment centre can reach another adult if needed on the day of the assessment. 

• Free School Meals (FSM) Evidence
  The £20 administration fee is waived where valid EA confirmation of FSM entitlement is provided for the named child. Please ensure you upload the correct and complete documentation.

• Application Responsibility
  Please note that it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to complete the application process. Late or incomplete applications may not be accepted. 

There are still places available across most test centres at present, but availability will reduce as applications continue.
