Young Enterpreneurs!
Mrs. McDermott’s Y7 Class recently set up their own business “Great Gardens”. They invested a total of £100 to start off their business. They decided to produce a variety of outdoor products ranging from birdhouses and wind chimes, to plaques and plant pot markers. Then they proceeded to sell their products to the staff and children in school.
They soon discovered they needed more products and so they branched out into bookmarks, masks and door hangers to meet the demand of their customers.
Their business was a great success and they made a profit of £167 which they will now spend on a fun day for their class.
