The new form for seeking provision for key worker or vulnerable children, for the week beginning Monday 25th January, is now live HERE
Please note: This facility should ONLY be used as a last resort and if you do not have access to alternative childcare.
Anyone who has secured places for their children this week must resubmit for the week beginning Monday 25th January.
Closing date is Thursday 21st January at 12 noon.

Key Worker/Vulnerable children Update
Tue 05 Jan 2021Key Worker/Vulnerable Child Provision Week Beginning Monday 11th January 2021.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As you are aware from the latest announcements, it is expected that we will be providing remote learning to our pupils beyond this Friday.
At present, there has been no communication with schools to indicate the approximate timescale for this provision. However, it is thought that remote learning will extend to the end of January and potentially up to Mid-Term break. Once a date has been confirmed I will inform you all as soon as possible.
This week we will be providing 'supervision' for children of key workers or those identified as vulnerable. This provision will be available for as long as remote learning is in place.
Anyone who is requiring placement for their child(ren) from Monday (INCLUDING THOSE WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED FOR THIS WEEK) is asked to complete the new application form via the link below. This will ensure that we have the latest and most up to date information.

If any parent or guardian has missed the post regarding this opportunity, please access the link to complete the form via Class Dojo or using the link previously posted on the school website.

Return to School January 2021
Fri 01 Jan 2021REOPENING OF SCHOOL NEXT WEEK
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Further to my communications yesterday, I would like to update you all in relation to our return to school.
Minister Weir has stated that all primary school children will be taught remotely next week with a return to face to face teaching the week beginning Monday 11th January.
Therefore, from Wednesday 6th January until Friday 8th January, Sacred Heart will be providing remote learning via our online platforms for all children.
Class Dojo Year 1 - 2
Google Classroom Year 3 - 7Provisions will be made for KEY WORKER CHILDREN and those children identified as VULNERABLE in school from the 6th - 8th January. This provision is for those families who have no alternative childcare arrangements and should only be used as a last resort.
Parents/Guardians MUST apply for this provision and a separate application form MUST be submitted for each child.
Please note that the provision being made is that of 'supervision' as directed by the Education Minister and will not take the form of face to face teaching.
