Just a few updates for the week ahead!
🐣 Easter Holidays🐣
School will finish at the usual times for children on Tuesday 30th March.
Wednesday 31st March is a Staff Development Day and school is closed to all pupils.
School reopens on Monday 12th April for Term 3.
🚘 Concerns around cars at collection times 🚘
I have received some very serious concerns and phone calls over the past few days in regards to cars and parking, especially at the lay by on the Trench Road.
It is vitally important to remember that safety is our number one priority in the collection of pupils but we also must be considerate of other users on the roads.
✅ Please do not park in the middle of the lay by or block the flow of traffic through this point.
✅ Please do not block the main Trench Road. Consideration needs to be shown to residents and other road users travelling at our collection times.
✅ The Chapel Car park is available and should be used to ensure safe parking.
✅ Cars are not permitted into the staff car park unless previously arranged with myself. A P1 child was nearly hit by an unauthorized car recently. Safety first!
✅ I will continue to monitor the situation and I may have to review our collection times should issues persist.
📞 Office Hours 📞
Mrs McGlinchey is currently off unwell but we will have temporary cover at the main reception.
The Office lunch time is 12 noon until 12.45pm.

World Down Syndrome Day

Sunday 21st March is World Down Syndrome Day and to celebrate this day and show our support we are inviting all children to wear odd socks/bright socks to school on Monday 22nd March.

Year 3 Collection Time Update
Thu 18 Mar 2021*UPDATE FOR YEAR 3 COLLECTION TIMES**
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we are welcoming the whole school back on Monday 22nd March, the Year 3 children will return to their normal collection times (as it was before Christmas) at the end of school.
All children with SURNAMES A-L should be collected at 2.45pm.
All children with SURNAMES M-Z should be collected at 3.00pm.
Collection points remain the same.
(Lay-by on Trench Road)
**This will come into effect from Monday 22nd March.**

This form is ONLY for Year 4 - 7 children needing access to this provision.
A reminder that these children will be put into two bubbles:
Bubble 1: Year 4/Year 5
Bubble 2: Year 6/Year 7
Drop off and collection times have now been amended to allow for social distancing and staggered drop off due to the return of Year 1 to 3 pupils to the classroom for face-to-face teaching.
All children attending supervised bubbles from next week on are required to wear SCHOOL UNIFORM.
