Now in its tenth year, the line dancing club is a major hit with both girls and boys from Year 3 upwards. Each Wednesday afternoon they can be seen under the direction of Mrs McDermott and Miss McCauley stomping out their increasingly more difficult routines. Stetson hats aren't an essential prop but we see these on a regular basis!!
The members of the club will perform at several events throughout the year, including our Open Night, our Saint Patrick's Day Ceili and our Summer Shows. As well as fostering a love of dance, this club also counts as one major workout each Wednesday, as the children dance for a full hour!! Not an easy task for the teachers involved, let alone the children, but fair play to them all, they give it their all each week. Yeehaa?
